Customer Service Consultant
Location: Lakeside Portsmouth
Hours:
Week 1: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Week 2: 9:00am - 5:00pm
1 week every 9 weeks, you will work a week of 12:00pm - 8:00pm shifts
1 in 3 Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm (When you work a Saturday, you will be given a whole day off in the week)
Salary: £19,000
Payment progression scheme which can boost your salary to £22,000

This company is offering a great opportunity to someone looking to gain valuable customer service and sales experience in an office-based environment. The company is a leading insurance provider, based in Leicester and is renowned for its staff recognition and rewarding hard work.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be taking inbound calls from customers who simply need your assistance and it will be your responsibility to provide them with first-class customer service.
This role is a great opportunity for you to gain experience in an office, work in a fantastic team, and develop your skills.
Responsibilities
- Answering calls promptly and by our Service Level Agreements.
- Contacting and dealing with customers via telephone and email updating details whilst providing excellent customer service.
- Production of customer, affinity and veterinary correspondence to corporate standard.
- Collating and posting of documents where required.
- Maintaining a consistent and energetic approach and building rapport with internal and external customers.
- Liaising with veterinary practices, breeders, policyholders and affinity partners to obtain information to allow veterinary nurses to settle claims and then produce the cheques.
- Ad hoc duties as required by Management.
- Where applicable, to adhere to Company processes about FCA compliance and Treating Customers Fairly
The ideal candidate:
- Customer service experience (Face to face or telephone)
- Happy working on the telephone
- A confident and enthusiastic attitude
- Happy to take on training and further learning
