Conveyancing Legal Secretary
A well-established, Legal 500 firm are currently seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join the team, based in London. This office is located near Holborn and candidates must be within a 1 hour commute.
You will join an experienced team of lawyers, with a friendly and collaborative culture.
The offices are modern and open plan, with plenty of amenities in walking distance.
The successful conveyancing legal secretary must have:
- At least 1 year of experience as a legal secretary/assistant in a residential conveyancing department.
- Fast and accurate typing skills, ideally 70 wpm
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word
- Great organisational skills
Duties include but not limited to:
- Open files
- Deal with AML requirements
- Issue initial letters to clients
- Draft contracts and transfers
- Complete SDLT applications
- Prepare LR applications
- Deal with correspondence post exchange and on completion
On offer is a market led salary of up to £32,000 (depending on experience) and a generous benefits package.
Hybrid working options may be available after an initial 'settling in' period, for training and induction purposes.
Working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch.
