Are you a Law Graduate or an Administrator who is looking for a role as a part-time Legal Administrator which offers progression, a fun and vibrant working environment and excellent training?
A highly respected Legal 500 law firm with offices in Dorset are seeking a part-time Legal Administrator to support two of their superb Fee Earners, with a focus on Employment, Litigation and Corporate/Commercial work. The successful Legal Administrator will be responsible for a range of duties including (but not limited to):
- Setting up files
- Conducting legal research
- Involvement in legal drafting
- Production of quality legal letters, documents and contracts
- Liaising with relevant departments (such as Accounts, marketing etc.)
- Be the first port of call for new and existing client enquiries (including producing quotes) - both verbally and in writing
- Updating IT systems
The successful Legal Administrator will offer the following background/skill set:
- Ideally have an administrative background
- Be educated to at least A-Level (ideally with a law degree)
- Demonstrate a high attention to detail
- Be a keen team player
- Be willing to learn
- Have a flexible approach to work with a strong work ethic

While not a "fast-track" role to qualification, the firm do offer support for both CILEX and SQE qualification routes to committed individuals.

You will be based at the firm's Blandford Forum office. Due to the public transport links, it is preferred that the successful candidate either lives locally or drives.
The role is administrative in its nature and requires a good grasp of IT packages. The position provides a good deal of structured training, so it's a great opportunity to build legal knowledge and understanding in employment law as well as litigation and corporate/commercial matters and establish yourself within legal private practice
Office hours are 09:00am to 5:00pm, with hybrid working available after 1 year of (very good) training. This role is a part-time role, offering 21 hours work per week (there is flexibility over working pattern).
Salary
All candidates start their journey earning £21,000 (FTE) which will increase to at least £22,000 after 3 months service.
