Trainee Customer Account Executive - Motorsport Insurance

Nottingham

Salary: £23,000

Flexible working usually 3 days at home and 2 days in the office (main office Nottingham)

The Company

My client is a leading motorsport insurance company who arrange cover for competitors, teams and enthusiasts at all levels from hobby through to professional for competition, classic, kit and sports cars, as well as commercial schemes for business and event organisers.

The Role

The focus of the role is to contribute to the continued growth and expansion of the company, increasing revenue. Providing knowledge and customer service that our clients expect when they contact us as the nature of providing unique attention to detail and ability to meet the clients needs. The key responsibilities of this role will include handling enquiries from motor sport clients and enthusiasts, quoting and processing products, writing new business and managing renewals.

As part of the group of companies there will be opportunity to progress within the company after completion of probation and a proven track record established. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain a Cert CII qualification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling enquiries from motorsport clients and enthusiasts from internal phone enquiries and inbound leads received
  • Quoting and Processing niche products including writing new business, managing renewals and mid term changes to existing policies
  • A high level of teamwork is required but also the ability to work on your own as once induction training is completed
  • Our niche and specialist markets require our Account Executives to be both knowledgeable and enthusiastic
  • Flexibility if required to attend events or shows to promote the business

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong customer service (call centre ideally) and/or sales
  • A passion for Motorsport or having knowledge is an advantage but training will be given to the right candidate
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Ideally call handling experience
  • Excellent Communication skills, comfortable with speaking to clients on the phone
  • Sales experience an advantage but not essential for the right candidate
  • A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office

The Ideal Candidate:

This role would suit someone who is bubbly, friendly and who has a great passion for customer service and sales. The role calls for someone who is eager to learn, dedicated and ideally someone who has an interest in Motorsport.

Hours

8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday

9am-12.30pm Every other Saturday

Work from home 3 days and 2 days in the office (main office Nottingham)
