Legal Secretary
A great opportunity has arisen for a legal secretary to join a highly regarded law firm, based in Brighton. This is a long-standing and well-established firm with an exceptional reputation in the Kent and Sussex region.
The firm has a culture of exceptional client service and prides itself on being an open friendly place to work.
They are currently seeking a full-time legal secretary to join their dispute resolution/litigation department. Previous experience in a legal support role is essential, but this experience does not have to lie within a litigation team.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Liaising with Clients
Provide full generic administrative support (including digital dictation).
Opening and maintaining files
Making appointments and arranging meetings
Diary management
Putting together trial bundles
Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork (preparing for dispatch when necessary).
Other general duties and responsibilities as required.
Experience/skills:
Previous experience as a legal secretary/assistant required (any area of law).
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage time effectively.
Strong client/customer service skills.
High level of written and spoken English.
Ability to work under pressure.
This role will be fully-office based, and the firm are in central Brighton. They are very close to the train station (10-15 minute walk) and are even closer to bus stops.
